Kamarei Advisory
Kamarei Advisory is a consulting firm that provides coaching, training, and advising services to individuals and corporations. Golbie and Arzhang are the founders of this firm, and they hope to expand their customer base and build up a better connection with their customers through the firm’s website. Also, the founders wish their customers will have the ability to understand more about their offerings and purchase their related services via the website.

Problems

Golbie and Arzhang have their own websites individually, but they don’t have a shared website.

The existing website is missing the detailed introduction of different types of services.

The existing website doesn’t have an E-commerce feature.

Users can’t schedule appointments with Golbie and Arzhang directly through the existing website.

Users can’t create a user account through the existing website.
Solutions

Build a new website that is able to review both Golbie and Arzhang’s Bios and Experiences at the same time.

Build a specific webpage to introduce service details.

Build an E-commerce system that allows users to purchase related services.

Build a scheduling system that allows users to schedule an appointment with Golbie and Arzhang directly.

Build a user account system that allows users to manage their personal profiles.
Competitor Analysis
I analyzed three competitors’ website that provided by Golbie and Arzhang, and I also created individual sitemaps for their major features. I discovered how these features are utilized via the sitemaps and also rated them in competitor analysis. I confirmed how to implement some changes for the Kamarei Advisory website by the time I finished this competitor analysis.
Sitemap
I designed this Sitemap by summarizing the information on both Golbie and Arzhang’s individual websites and providing the information for Kamarei Advisory’s upcoming services.
User Flow
Both Golbie and Arzhang shared their ideas and expectations on the most frequently used and major feature of the Kamarei Advisory website in our meetings, and I confirmed two user flows based on their information which is “landing page to finishing schedule” and “landing page to finishing sign-in”.
Wireframe
I created the wireframes below based on the confirmed sitemap and user flow. It is clear to see the content of every page, pictures, and layout of statistics. It also lists all the steps that include in the user flow.

Clickable Wireframe
I created a simple clickable user flow in order to let Golbie and Arzhang to better understand how this user flow works, so they
can really click to complete the preset tasks.
Mockups
I created a couple of mockups for the home page and Bio & Experiences page because stakeholders sometimes would focus on the final outcome instead of the UX details. Golbie and Arzhang both appreciated the mockups and thought this is how Kamarei Advisory website should look like.
Conclusion
In this 40-hours industry design project, I met with both Golbie and Arzhang after every milestone and also communicated with them before I took any step forward. It reduces confusion that caused by any misunderstanding of this project and saves a lot of time and effort that ensure the project would make smooth progress.
